Our Rice Hut is styled after the small barns used in Northern Thailand to store harvested rice. And we have completed a complete renovation and enlargement.

The Rice Hut is built mostly of teak, with old teak floors, and one large room. It has a brass and wicker ceiling fan and includes a queen size bed with a bedside lamp. In the living area of the cottage, there is a rattan table and chairs, and a lamp. The Rice Hut also includes teak shelves and wardrobe, a refrigerator with mini-bar and complimentary coffee/tea service, and also a television with DVD player and Thai cable TV. The western style ensuite toilet is finished with hand-glazed tile walls, glass bricks, and has a gas hot water heater for the shower so there is lots of hot water on a chilly Soppong morning. The Rice Hut is at the top of our property, and all by itself – not near any other rooms, with an adjacent parking space.
